  • Technique: Begin by bringing your focus to the center of your head, the space just behind your eyes and between your ears. Imagine this point as your center, a calm vantage point where thoughts can flow without taking hold. Allow any racing thoughts to simply float by, like leaves in a stream. This quiet space is where you connect with your inner guide, letting go of reactive thoughts and inviting calm clarity.

  1. Art Inspiration: Take a moment to draw or paint your inner guide. This can be in the center of the paper, and illustrated in any way that promotes a visual representation of your inner wisdom.
    • To create some distance from outside influences, draw bubbles on one side of the paper to represent each distracting thought and any mental noise. Notice the difference between your inner guide and the bubbles that are diverting your attention from having clarity and communication with your inner knowledge. 
    • This creative expression can be a wonderful way to externalize and visually process what's occupying your mind and to gain space from mental clutter. If you’d like to clear out any of those disturbances, you can do so by drawing a line through them or by creating your inner guide bubble on a new page, free from those other bubbles. 
    • You are welcome to draw or paint anything that comes up as you use art as a form of self expression. This is your space, make it your own, fully creating in a way that is unique to you!
  2. Nature Walk: Go for a walk in nature and observe the stillness around you. Even with all the trees, plants, and wildlife, there is a profound sense of calm. Let this natural balance inspire you to invite stillness into your own life.

Imagine clarity being inhaled with each breath and as you exhale let any mental noise go out with that breath.
